Fender Jazz, MIM 1995

Scored this bass for a svelt $125. Not the first, nor last time I’ll say that either. Nearly unplayed over the past twenty years, from what I gather it was used for a church band briefly. Gig bag still has original sales materials and store decals.

The neck and body were perfect. Pickguard is a less common all one piece white plastic, rather than the split with metal control plate. Gutted the electronics, in favor of a set of Aguilar 4J-HOT , CTS pots, and Orange Drop cap.

Hipshot Kickass bridge, and Hipshop Ultralight tuning machines, coupled with Ernie Ball Cobalt 40-95 strings round out the picture.
